[Paddlewise] Baidarka Photos/ VW side mount (in answer to kathy's query)

    Kathy, ......If you have no strident objection to drilling a couple
of holes in the lower body and attaching  a piece of angle to form a
'raingutter' mount for the bottom mount of your Yakimas here is a
picture that gives a vague idea of how it's done.  Use the raingutter
for the upper mount (provided a 95 Eurovan possesses raingutters).  I am
also vertically challenged, and the bubble top on my camper precludes a
top mount.  It is a stout mount and generally gets more attention than
the boats thereupon mounted at symposia.   Go figure.
