Last night's paddle finally convinced me that it's high time that I did something about the HUGE (for me) cockpit in my Seaward Ascente. I simply cannot stay in the boat during a roll attempt. Flip the boat upside down and down I go - no troubles at all with a wet exit. I've pulled a few articles about cockpit "foaming" from Clyde's web site and I seem to recall that Sea Kayaker Mag had an article a while ago on the subject (but a quick search through the stack of mags proved fruitless). If anybody knows what issue that article was in could you please let me know. Any other tips, reprints of previous discussions, etc that anyone has would be appreciated.
