Speaking of nipples, don't ever paddle without something between your nylon
life jacket and your nipples. I found this out the hard way when I removed
my T-shirt on a very hot day before a kayak race where wearing a PFD was
required. Now even a T-shirt isn't enough to protect them from the PFD on a
long paddle.
