Do you mean put money directly into his account?

Folks can't put money into his bank account without knowing his bank number
and that information should not be posted on the internet. An account could
be set up with prior arrangements made between the bank and Maligiaq (and maybe
his father) to accept donations for that account in a specific name such as
"Getting Maligiaq to the Race" (but I don't recommend this name as I've seen
Maligiaq's name spelled about four different ways, now :-) with checks made out
to that name and addressed to the bank. The bank will handle the deposits.

Or they could be sent to Maligiaq's father to make the deposits.

Maligiaq should then be able to make withdrawals at any ATM machine in the US
(or Canada, too, I would guess).

Cheers,

Jackie
