Happy Dog rides on the stern deck, both white water and flat. She prefers flat and wears a PFD of course. In cold water, she also dons a wet suit. In very cold conditions, she rides in the cockpit. I've considered making a sprayskirt with a velcro window so she can look out under those conditions. We just returned from another 4 days on the Missouri River in Montana. mmmmmmmmmmm, I wanna go baaaack! I will, I usually make Montana once a year, Lake Powell once a year, this year the Rio Grande (Big Bend) was a bust though--not enough water. I'll try that one again this winter... Alice P.S. Hey, Jackie, how many pups are you taking along these days? When the water gets a little rough, Happy gets antsy initially. I've thought about getting another pup but at about 30 pounds a pop, weight and balance gets interesting. How are you solving it?? P.P.S. I *think* I got a boater to take some pictures of us but haven't developed them yet. I'll e them to you off line when I get them back. I'm not sure the boater got the flick on what I wanted though he took _18_ pictures. I told him I wanted pics of the dog on the boat but I am afraid they will all be of me. I *knew* I should have worn more clothes... :-) Anyway I'll see what I get and if I have anything, I'll pass them along.
