In reference to the question submitted about the new Feathercraft K1's assembly time, I can tell you that I am able to assemble mine in around 30 minutes. Sometimes it takes a few minutes more, but I really think that that will change, because right now the only real problem that I have is that the skin has not stretched-out yet to the shape of the frame so somethimes it takes a couple of minutes to get the frame in properly. Other than that, assembly is really a snap. When I picked up my boat from the shop, they had the boat assembled for me, and I walked me through taking it apart. Then they allowed me to put it together by myself. I managed to do it in 37 minutes the very first time, so I assume that things can only get better! Good luck with your boat, Dave Gutierrez Free instant messaging and more at http://messenger.yahoo.com *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Mon Aug 02 1999 - 04:56:18 PDT
