I am able to feed the cable through the seats of two kayaks down the back of my Trooper and into a small opening in the frame of my truck. Its very easy to secure two kayaks in this manner and I'm sure I could secure more if I ran the cable through a door and secured it through a seat assembly. Hope that helps.
