[Paddlewise] The Hawkesbury Madness

	Ah Hah,  The club worthies have tumbled to the Great Klepper Plan to
Blitzkreig the Hawkesbury.  For many years Klepper owners have secretly
participated in this stupid event and won many of those silly bronze medals
by paddling furiously until dark, breaking down their kayaks at E check
point, stuffing their boats  into a car,  spending the night in a luxury
motel,  re-assembling at Spenser and powering to a splendid finish as dawn
breaks.
	It is just getting more and more expensive to bribe those darn checkpoint
'charlies' and there is a rumour they are introducing random breath testing
 at the finish ramp this year.
