I looked at the Arctic Tern but decided against it.  Although it does have
hard chines it's the same length and width as the boat I'm paddling now.

I was told that the plans for the CLC Northbay that I ordered are going
to be shipped tomorrow!!!

For some reason it seem that very few people consider the CLC Northbay.
I have seen quite a few references to their other models, even the 19.5'
Patauxent, but very few seem to build the Northbay.  I asked someone
at CLC how it compared to a Wildnerness Systems Arctic Hawk, a
hard chined boat that I really like, and he said that it was longer and
faster and the cockpit was a bit roomier.  It's sounds just like what I'm
looking for.
