Have you tried one of the chinier ones, like the new Arctic Tern? >e I looked at the Arctic Tern but decided against it. Although it does have hard chines it's the same length and width as the boat I'm paddling now. I was told that the plans for the CLC Northbay that I ordered are going to be shipped tomorrow!!! For some reason it seem that very few people consider the CLC Northbay. I have seen quite a few references to their other models, even the 19.5' Patauxent, but very few seem to build the Northbay. I asked someone at CLC how it compared to a Wildnerness Systems Arctic Hawk, a hard chined boat that I really like, and he said that it was longer and faster and the cockpit was a bit roomier. It's sounds just like what I'm looking for. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Wed Sep 29 1999 - 11:19:42 PDT
