Not wanting to start this thread up again...But, the last time it ran there was a lot of negativity towards using soaps and bleach. I recall someone offering a biological warfare solution...something about microbes, space shuttle etc. I would like to get in touch with whomever has that new twist on solving the problem. Does anyone have the address/#? Fellow Paddlewiser Bob Denton developed a product like this...I'm sure he'll reply. The product is called Sink the Stink. I think he mentioned that it is commonly available at many dive shops. The product is called "sink the stink" and was developed by Bob Denton. I thought I had the address, but I see now that I've misplaced it. If anyone has the address from which this can be purchased, I'd also like to have it. - Bill Hansen *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************
Here's something that Bob Denton wrote a while ago.... "The 8oz bottle retails for $8.99. I don't have a retail price for the gallons but you can buy them and bottles from: Man of Rubber 800 437 9224 Your local dive shop should have the 4 oz bottles." I'm sure when Bob gets back to the list that he can supply more details. I know that you've mentioned that Sink the Sink could be purchased at a local dive shop but since Ithaca, NY isn't exactly a hot bed for diving I've been looking for another source. I'll try sending email to gulfstream. By the way, the link for Trident on that page doesn't work. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************
