My absolute favorite kayak camping meal is fresh caught Dolly Varden. Place on tinfoil skin side down, cover the top with butter, salt & pepper and garlic and then use more foil to seal the package. Place the package skin side down directly on the coals (not too hot). The skin will stick to the foil as you easily peel the cooked fish away from it.
