As usual, when I communicate with PW it's because I am in need of
assistance....this time is no different....I'll be in the Miami area for
3 days or so (11,12,13 of November)...my wife is attending a "breathing"
workshop that is being given at the Holiday Inn, Downtown....being VERY
cheap, I thought we might camp our way down there and end up at the TY
Park (county) campground near/in Hollywood, Fl....can anyone give me
some comments (good or bad) regarding this campground....Also, I'd like
to paddle a little and maybe find an outfitter that could teach me to E.
roll....I've tried on my own and can get it SOMETIMES but I NEED to do a
lot better....I will NOT have any of my gear with me (I wouldn't DARE
suggest to my wife that I take my boat and gear....she thinks I'm
absolutely single-minded about kayaking as it is) so I'll need to
rent....any suggestions regarding both of the above would be GREATLY
appreciated.....Russell

Whenever I go to Florida, I rent from Atlantic Coast Kayak in Pompano Beach.
There is a nice recreational area near them that does not allow power boats.
They have a WEB site but I dn't know thier address.

Sandy Kramer says:
It's atlantic.coast_at_juno.com The owner Dominic (Dom) Coscia is delightful.
The Blazing Paddles club operates under his "tutelage" (for want of a better
word) and they run several trips throughout the year.

On the business side, Atlantic Coast also runs GREAT TRIPS.
