You might try Sierra Trading Post www.SierraTrading Post.com .  They
generally have close out or seconds.  In the latest catalog they have a 6
pocket wool pant by codet.  They may be too heavy  I seem to recall they
also have some military surplus wool pants.that they have been trying to get
rid of.

Another option is long underwear under nylon wind pants or nylon shorts.  A
good pair of poly long johns   dry quickly and are warm when wet without
being too bulky.
