Hi there Not sure whether I'm replying to Peter or Chuck here...I gather someone was enquiring about paddling for people with a disability. I am paralysed from the chest down and do a lot of sea paddling. Not sure if I can be of help or not, but let me know if you want. Basically, I use a double (for more stability) with a rigid foam backrest (as I don't have good balance due to lack of abdominals). Apart from that, no major changes - a dry bag or float or something similar between my legs to keep them out to the sides of the boat for better balance.
