I saw four, one great long one and three little ones, but my buddy saw
the
best one, which was out of my line of sight: a great flaming yellow
streak
that went 2/3rds across the sky splitting as it burned so that it had
two
tails. Woa.

Wind chill must've been around - 5, so we cashed it in at 1:30 a.m., but
should've stayed another two hours, when the frequency picked up, I
heard.
Clear and cold, it was, very clear, down here in the Pine Barrens of
SOuth Jersey.

According to this morning's Star Tribune, about six hours after I left
Afton State Park, just before dawn, observers there saw about 80 per
hour, including several bright ones. I should have listened to my wife.
