ulli Wrote Hi, your advise to store water and especially food in your boat overnight and not in your tent might be a bad idea in bear country. Having food in your tent in this regions isn't a good idea at all, but keeping it in your boat is also not a bright idea. Some of the big guys might try to open up the tupperware container to see what treats are inside and you will have a long hike back to the next possible pick up point. Same is valid for garbage!
