The price on a glass Seda single at my store (until the end of January) is
$1275 + $65 in shipping costs.  Most dealers around the country will have
them at similar prices (This is not an ad but a refutation of the post
below). I don't sell many plastic kayaks as a result of my dislike for them
and the $400 extra someone has to pay to get fiberglass. There are several
other good glass kayaks for under $2000. Note:Mariners don't cost $3000 as
you claim either unless you want Kevlar or Graphite.

Most Seda kayaks are nicer
paddling kayaks than anything I have tried in plastic (and I try everything
I can get my hands on. Got to run.
