Hello Paddle Wisers, This post is directed to paddlers who have the new skeg deployment lever which deploys the skeg via a wire cable. This new skeg deployment system is found on the new P & H Capellas and other newer sea kayaks that have skegs. Caution has to be taken when deploying the skeg for if the skeg is stuck or slightly jammed the cable may bend if you end up applying too much force to it.
