How did you determine an expiration date?  I can't find one on the Cyalumes I 
have.  There is a serial number or date code on them, but no clue how to 
interpret it.

I assume you *are* marking the dates on the foil wrap.  Removing the sticks 
from the foil will guarantee that the light fails before its time.
