What I mean is that most CTS problems I've heard of (keyboards - computer, piano etc) are due to the stress in the sheath going through the wrist joint itself. If you type with bent wrists, you're forcing the tendons to wrap around the bend in the wrist joint, which results in extra friction inside the sheath in the joint area itself. My wrist gaskets are about an inch or so up the arm from the center of the wrist joint. At this point, the tendons are straight and not effected by curvature of the wrist joint. There is a possibility of CTS there, but not due to curvature of the sheath/tendon. I've suffered in the past from what I thought was CTS. It turned out to be just aggrevation of the joint itself (cartilige etc). Similar causes (bad hand positions in typing and more importantly - mouse useage with wrist on the mousepad) and similar solutions - do it right. volinjo_at_juno.com wrote: > My wrist gaskets are at my wrists.
