I've used the fast cure 5200 and it works very well. The rep at West Marine
said there was very little difference.

5200 is about the same consistency of regular caulk. Only much messier. It
gets on everything that it touches. It will also take a minimum of 7 days to
get to the point where it doesn't get on everything it touches. After
applying, spritz it with water once a day or so to facilitate the cure.
There is fast curing 5200, but I've never tried it.

One last thing: Once a tube of 5200 has been opened, you have to use it all
within a few days or toss it away.
