Paddlewisers,

I just got the Jan/Feb issue of Paddler in the mail, and it's a good one. I
am becoming more and more impressed with this magazine. This issue has a
good article by Dennis Eagan about surviving in a sea kayak when conditions
turn bad, an excellent profile on the innovative outdoorsman and sea kayaker
Ray Jardine, and a good story about a group sea kayaking at the Aleutian
Islands, as well as some other good sea kayaking stuff, including a brief
about Kevin Geshel, Don Diamond, and some others crossing Lake Superior to
bring attention to water quality issues. You may want to check it out.

I agree, Paddler mag seems to be improving quite well.

Seems like for the past couple of years, they have done a fine job of
'copying' the buyers guide that Canoe&Kayak puts out each fall.

bye bye bliven
who is wondering why he gets both magazines. if they are just going to copy
each other, why shouldn't i save a tree and drop one.
