I am considering purchasing a SEDA Tango kevlar kayak. Compared to other kevlar double kayaks it is inexpensive. Has anyone had experience with one or with other composite SEDA kayaks? You thoughts & opinions will be appreciated. Also does anyone know of a used double touring kayak for sale in the south west? I live near Las Vegas. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************
>I am considering purchasing a SEDA Tango kevlar kayak You thoughts & opinions will be appreciated. A friend of mine has a kevlar Tango which we paddled in 20+ knots wind in Southern San Francisco Bay. We were in beam seas of 3 feet or so for an hour. There was no problem handling the conditions with the Tango. But it feels like a huge boat. Don't believe the dimensions quoted in the Seda catalog. I forget the details but it is wider than advertised. Also the seat that works fine in the Seda singles was, to my rear end, quite uncomfortable in the double.
