Florida, AFTER the tourist season is a great place to convene. It's the dry season and accommodation in places like the Keys and the West Coast are dirt cheap and car rentals are rock bottom as well. Air into Ft. Lauderdale or Miami is inexpensive especially on one of the budget airlines like Spirit, South West or Air Trans. May is one of the nicest months in South Florida with water temps in the low 80s and generally low humidity and dry conditions. I used to organize Cyberdives for our dive group on Compuserve in the mid 90s and they were always successful. (No I'm not volunteering..)
