And speaking of OpSail, I received a call from our local Coast Guard
Auxilliary unit last week asking if we wanted to run a sea kayaker safety
program again this year.  Due to OpSail, they are apparently under a lot of
stress and scheduling constraints already.  We discussed who all would be
participating in the OpSail parade and I suggested, of course, that no
waterway procession would be complete without a kayaking contingent.  He got
a big laugh out of that and muttered some comment (like:  You're too much!),
but I really think we should be represented in the pageantry, darn it!  Who
do I have to talk to?  Ralph, you've got connections over there.  Call the
Harbor Master and get us on that list!!!
