Does anyone have comparative experience with both of these similar sized
fast doubles? Both are 22' by 26.5 ". I paddled the Nootka in mild
conditions and was favorably impressed and I read the favorable Sea Kayaker
review of the Passat.

Also, there is also a Nootka Plus, which has a center compartment and is an
inch wider. Any opinions on this flavor.

I am mainly interested in handling in wind and waves in these long, narrow
doubles. Don't care about what I believe are small speed or efficiency
differences.

I am also curious about the Boreal Beluga, which at 21' by 28.5 " would fit
better in my garage. Any opinions on this or on Boreal in general. Never
have seen one here in Southern Cal.
