Hey Bob and All, Don't worry Bob, I'm pretty thick skinned and reasonably capable of defending myself, you'll have to work fairly hard to offend me. I don't feel picked on at all. I do want to clarify something though; I have never needed a ferrule kit from Werner, I used to sell their paddles at a shop I worked for. That is how I'm aware of the policy. As for defending it, I don't think I'm defending it, I'm just offering the explanation that was offered to me.
