Hey Bob and All,

Don't worry Bob, I'm pretty thick skinned and reasonably capable of
defending myself, you'll have to work fairly hard to offend me. I don't
feel picked on at all. I do want to clarify something though; I have never
needed a ferrule kit from Werner, I used to sell their paddles at a shop I
worked for. That is how I'm aware of the policy. As for defending it, I
don't think I'm defending it, I'm just offering the explanation that was
offered to me. As with most manufacturers issues, my suggestion would be to
call Werner and get your information straight from the horses mouth.
