I haven't, but I've tried charcoal. Doesn't burn that hot, and you need
lots. Liquid or gas stoves are much, much more efficient for this
application, although the Zip sure is a lot cheerier. And it's way cool to
be BBQing as your pals dine on glop. But there is a weight and bulk penalty.
