I would agree 100% with that. What I thought was important was that the article mentioned one of the men as being a former student of George's. I have taken a number of George's courses and I know that the subject of tides is covered in explicit detail...including the problems and dangers of being stranded, particularly in mud flats. And I too have forgotten articles that I would like to have along. I once drove to the coast and found I had left my spray skirt at home. George's course has so much information that this stuff is coming at you in a stream that is hard to remember all of it... so, I personally keep reading reports like these, and keep rehearsing rescues and increasing my skills to help me from making mistakes like this. Yes, I'll bet these guys don't get stranded again.
