SQRT would be "square root" good Luck with the formula Rainer.

Ken, That was a very interesting post. Can you give some more detail about 
the method for deriving your formulae - did you select paddlers you knew to 
be good and measure their parameters - did you select paddlers that were 
having difficulties? Any feel for why the boat width and shoulder parameters 
were a square root and the spine height a square function?
