Regarding my inquiry about paddling in Venice. I have read that the water quality leaves much to be desired, but the responses I have received so far from Paddlewisers state that the water is closer to being toxic. Yuck. No paddling for me on this trip. But that's ok as we'll be spending some time on the Maine coast when we get back.
