Does anyone out there carry their kayak upside down on their vehicle? I've done this for the past few years because I think its more aerodynamic and I don't have to worry about covering the cockpit or its catching a lot of rain. I should mention that my vehicle is an older Mazda pickup [fairly low] so its easy to load from the side. However maybe I'm missing something, since I've never seen anyone else doing this. Thanks for any input. New to paddlewise and am enjoying it.
