[Paddlewise] "Same-sex" Velcro?

  I've used a product that could be described as same sex velcro. The stuff 
I used came in a sticky back strip but did not use the hook and loop 
design. I hesitate to describe it for fear of not being taken seriously 
here but here goes...it used balls and shafts. The balls are molded to the 
top of an array of tiny shafts. When two pieces of the stuff are pressed 
together the balls on one push between and behind the balls on the other 
making a interlocking bond. Sounds kinky but it works. I don't know if I'd 
trust it for holding anything important or expensive.
