I'd call Rubatex. They are located just outside Roanoke, VA and ask where to purchase a small quantity of their latex foam. They do sell direct to the public. It's great stuff, about an inch thick but tough to cut and it won't carve like minicell. It doesn't take a set. As I said, it's the same stuff in your PFD. -----Original Message----- From: owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net [mailto:owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net]On Behalf Of Seng, Dave Sent: Thursday, May 18, 2000 4:25 PM To: 'paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net' Subject: RE: [Paddlewise] foam vs neoprene padding > -----Original Message----- > From: Bob Denton [mailto:BDenton_at_aquagulf.com] > Sent: Thursday, May 18, 2000 11:38 AM > > I picked up some latex foam samples made by Rubbatex (VA) at > a dive show a > few years ago and in my opinoion they are the BEST! Hi Bob, Any leads on where we can find this stuff - I managed to find a distributor, CGR & Valley Products, but am curious as to whether you know if it is available through any retail channels. I've made a phone inquiry to CGR & Valley, and am awaiting information on minimum order quantity, etc. He told me that they could probably work with a small order, but wasn't "the guy" to really answer that question.
