My problem is access to the fishing grounds. There is none unless you have a lot of time to paddle like 3 hours or own a larger boat similar to a bass boat with a big evinrude. Most people buy a big boat and strap their kayaks to them. They run at high speeds for about and hour to the flats and then anchor. I don't have that kind of money. I need faster transport to the flats than just my paddling or I can't go. I want to go . There is something on the market called a poweryak believe it or not. It's a Glen-L design, but I don't like it. I need a small motor, cheap, that could augment my paddling for about 30 minutes to get to the flat. Once on the Flat I would take it off and paddle only. I promise! since the water is about 6 to 12 inches. -----Original Message----- From: Chad Parrish [SMTP:fafnir_at_twincities.infi.net] Sent: Wednesday, May 24, 2000 10:54 AM To: PaddleWise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subject: Re: [Paddlewise] Trolling motor Hey why not just install solar panels on the deck and only bring the paddle along on cloudy days. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ *************************************************************************** *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Wed May 24 2000 - 12:47:06 PDT
