Same here. However, since you sit in a decked boat with knees bent which means an angle at the hips, does it matter whether his feet are level at his hips or not? You don't sit with feet straight out in front of you. Has he actually tried sitting in a kayak... any kayak... to check to see if it might work ok for him?
