Small addendum: I do not believe there is any petroleum spirit (on this side of the big water, that would be "petroleum distillate," or "mineral spirits," or somesuch) in 303. Any petroleum distillate would be very harmful to latex, for which 303 is ideal. There **is** a plasticizer (probably a phthalate ester, for those who care) in 303, which may suggest to the nose that there is a petroleum distillate in 303. -- Dave Kruger Astoria, OR organic chemist usual disclaimer: no connection to 303, just a very satisfied user *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Tue May 30 2000 - 20:20:36 PDT
