Wanted: your old paddling gear Part of my work for the Presbyterian Church is to coordinate the program of our church camp 'Rainbow Glacier'. We are in the process of buying some used sea kayaks from the local college. The boats are old Sisuitles (sp?) made by Pacific Water Sports. The problem is that once we buy the boats we do not have much money to outfit the boats. (no gear was included in the sale.) We need paddles, PFD's, spray skirts, floatation bags and paddle floats. If anyone out there has some old gear that is just collecting dust rather than getting wet we would appreciate it being donated to our camp. I will reimburse you for shipping (or that can be part of the donation if you are in a real generous mood) and send you a letter of thanks from the camp so you can claim a tax write off (please let me know what you feel the gear is worth). The paddles need to be "take aparts" since shipping a one piece to Alaska usually results in a "broke apart" paddle.
