[Paddlewise] Minneapolis Information

I am a newbie lurking in the piles of interesting messages that are
posted here each day.  My wife and I have only a year in kayaking and we
will be traveling from our home in Milwaukee to Minneapolis in two weeks
.  We need some information.  We are bringing our kayaks along and are
looking for flat water spots in the Minneapolis area.  We also would
need to know how and where to register our boats while in Minneapolis.
