For those who miss Tim, he seems to be alive and well. A letter to the editor from him appeared in Atlantic Coastal Kayaker pushing his sponsons. The usual stuff. It seemed much less strident than before but I think any first time reader of his stuff would have considered it shameless and overstated. Me? Having seen him at his worse, this letter looked pretty tame, i.e. no one was accused of killing babies or signing suicide pacts, etc. But anyway, for those who engage in "Whatever happened to xxxxx?" exercises, Tim is still out there. ralph Bob Denton wrote: > > I think the issue wasn't so much the sponsons, which have merit for certain > situations, but the shameless way Ingram was promoting them. > > cu > > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net > [mailto:owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net]On Behalf Of Kenneth > Cooperstein > Sent: Thursday, June 15, 2000 8:21 AM > To: paddlewise, paddlewise > Subject: [Paddlewise] Sponsons for fishing/kites > > I missed the Tim Ingram fiasco, but have read his web page and the > Paddlewise Topics on sponsons.
