Friends of mine have rented Prijon Seayaks several times and I have paddled
them. I think that they are a good option for a plastic boat. The plastic
seems to be much harder than most other types (HTP) and also appears to be
more resistant to abrasion and deformation. Prijon makes very popular WW
kayaks from the same material. The boat weathercocks w/o the rudder. The
rudder system allows a pretty solid footbrace due to its design. If I were
buying a plastic boat, a Seayak would be high on the list- the price is also
very competitive.
