I just got some Cool-Max (tm) shirts which claim to work in cold and hot weather by wicking. They seem warmer to me than my usual 'Stanley Kowalski' undershirts. By wicking away moisture are you not diminishing evaporative cooling? Sweat is our friend this time of year (we got up to 99 F (310 Kelvin) in Portland this week). *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Thu Jun 29 2000 - 11:37:17 PDT
