Looks like I'll be in Vancouver for a week or so in February. Anybody know any great kayaking spots/resources within a reasonable distance of Vancouver (preferably) or Victoria? *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************
If you are looking for sea kayaking, two great areas are the Gulf Islands (off the BC coast, between Vancouver and Victoria) and the San Juan Islands (off the Washington coast). -----Original Message----- From: owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net [mailto:owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net]On Behalf Of David W. If you take a ferry across the Strait of Juan de Fuca from Victoria you'll find a lot of beautiful places to paddle on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. A couple nice areas are: Dungeness Bay, Freshwater Bay and Sequim Bay. ----- Original Message ----- From: David W.
