Looks like I'll be in Vancouver for a week or so in February. Anybody know
any great kayaking spots/resources within a reasonable distance of Vancouver
(preferably) or Victoria?

If you are looking for sea kayaking, two great areas are
the Gulf Islands (off the BC coast, between Vancouver
and Victoria) and the San Juan Islands (off the Washington
coast).

If you take a ferry across the Strait of Juan de Fuca from Victoria you'll
find a lot of beautiful places to paddle on the Olympic Peninsula of
Washington State. A couple nice areas are: Dungeness Bay, Freshwater Bay
and Sequim Bay.
