Some of you may recall that I have had a dickens of a time re-learning how
to read a tide table and using it with a current flow chart. I managed
that however.

Recently I discussed this with a neigbor who is a diver. He recommended
"Tidelog 2000." I checked it out and recently purchased it for myself. In
one small book appears to be all the information I needed in the first
place. <g>

I have also recently moved from my RV [all 20ft of it<g>] to a mobile home
of the same age-though in considerably better condition besides being about
6x larger<g> that backs up to Illahee State Park directly on a part of
Puget Sound<!> That park has a nice arragement of docks/pier to allow me
to, as others have suggested, avoid the kayak when crabbing... I hope to
learn better how to do that later this summer... I also appears to be a
good put-in for my yak...

I have not been keeping up with the list lately [pre-TBI it the move
would have taken me 2 days tops, now? 3 weeks<g>] and the move has "put me
back a bit" on my plans for kayaking this season-but 600 sqft beats
80!!!<g> RV goes up for sale sometime this month...

Hope this wasn't too far off topic...

Hi Tom -

You're an inspiration, and that can never be very far off topic. Enjoy
your new home - and your proximity to such lovely paddling waters!

Melissa

It seems to me that the purpose of this list is to share our interest, our
passion and our values connected with kayaking. Your life, for me at least,
has connected with the reason I'm here. You touch all these spaces as well as
my heart. I love to hear your passage. It is in 'yaks, though sometimes you
have gotten our for a stretch on the beach. Don't deprive me of this part of
the story.

Tom,

I feel the same way as Joan even though I didn't get the Tidelog 2000 email.
Please resend it to me.
