Jebbamiah and All,

As I was saying I have no complaints about my situation now. I'm not a paid
by the day guide and I do just fine, but I'm thinking about those other
guides who are still working for larger tour operations. Last I knew in
Maine a guide working for an outfitter made about 75.00/day (that's what my
little Bro makes pushing rubber) and that isn't a ton of money.

WRT your boat, a shiny new boat is the mark of a novice paddler. (Now
there's the flame war you wanted!)

I'm kidding Jed. Have you tried Sea Power? It's a cleaner/wax with a mild
abrasive.

Cheers,

Rob Cookson
