The fellow with the worn cart said the problem ensues mostly from carting his fully laden kayak, not so much from quick trips -- but, he does paddle 5 days a week minimum. (He is an older fellow, in marvelous shape; paddles with a heart monitor, deck mounted GPS, and keeps a good clip at 5 knots in the Gulfstream with Greg Barton paddle. It never fails to impress me how some people embrace sea kayaking as a lifestyle choice toward better health and happiness in such complete ways). Anyway, the wear on the axles was pretty bad.
