"We are not amused!" Having owned boats with strap on hatches I would never own another boat without a VCP hatch. My boat is always bone dry and the convenience of opening and closing a hatch in seconds is worth and minor problems with the materials. Based on our member from the UK, the problem isn't the hatch, it's the replacement cost.
