BTW, the Sea Kayak Dispatch section of the August Canoe % Kayak Magazine, which I write and edit, has a dispatch about PaddleWise and a picture of the logo many of us are wearing. I mention Jackie and the way she keeps our discussions in good taste and the fierce loyalty and pride many of us have in PaddleWise...thus the PW tee shirts and patches. That good taste comes partly from the effort by most, if not all of us, to remain civil in sometimes heated discussions and partly, a big part, by Jackie's monitoring. I gather that a lot of what she does to keep us on topic and civil we don't see as it is behind the scenes work. Well, of course Bob & I will be there, since we're working at the Symposium. (We will get to take a few classes, too.) Look for us. We won't be wearing PW tee-shirts, but will probably be wearing AKT staff shirts (That shouldn't help much - but you can ask anyone from AKT where we are, and they should be able to point us out).
