And yes again, it is about enjoying ourselves on the water - it's also about an exchange of experiences, information, and opinions. No harm in that really. Some people will love a boat that another hates, but that shouldn't take anything away from the enjoyment each has in this wonderful activity and their chosen boat, and it also shouldn't prevent us from saying what we think about a certain boat - no matter it's brilliant and storied history (real or perceived). Just because I have respect for the accomplishments of a certain dinosaur (oops), doesn't mean I can't express an opinion or two about it's stinky breath, or even have a little fun at it's expense. Same goes for a Nordkapp. I respect myself, but I also try to be as objective as possible when looking at my faults. I also enjoy making fun of myself, and I even enjoy it when others (especially my friends) have a go at me from time to time. No harm done. And so I say: Nordkapp beware - I shall continue to flame you, no matter how famous and pretty you are! ;-) Melissa <pulling out all her flameproof gear, and checking it twice> *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced/forwarded outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: PaddleWise_at_PaddleWise.net Subscriptions: PaddleWise-request_at_PaddleWise.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Fri Aug 11 2000 - 13:43:34 PDT
