In six years of serious ocean paddling I have never needed my lifejacket but wear it for the day I do. If that is all it take take to help the victims then I would not hesitate throwing them my jacket. The chances of needing my jacket at the same time I donated it to save some lives would be pretty slim. If I had a choice between loosing my spray skirt or my PFD then I would give up the PFD every time David *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced/forwarded outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: PaddleWise_at_PaddleWise.net Subscriptions: PaddleWise-request_at_PaddleWise.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Thu Aug 17 2000 - 21:43:35 PDT
